Can a jury consider the victim's diminished earning capacity when awarding damages?

According to Florida case law as of the date of this article, the jury may consider the extent to which a car accident diminishes the victim’s capacity to earn a living when determining damages.

See: Truelove v. Blount, 954 So. 2d 1284 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2d Dist. 2007).
